Author Jenny McGlone

Jenny lives on the Kapiti Coast in New Zealand with her husband Mark and their dog Teddy. Her large garden is one of her favourite places to be. Jenny grew up in the Hutt Valley in Wellington (not far from the real world Ebdentown), and has achieved two diplomas in Creative Writing at the Whitirea Polytechnic. While enjoying many writing genres during her studies, writing for children particularly appealed. Jimmy Whiskers and the Great Parrot Rescue is her debut children's novel.

Amanda lives in Christchurch, New Zealand with her husband Greg and their Burmese cat Nacho. Returning to illustration after a career in creative and brand management, Amanda brings Jimmy to life through a hand-drawn and digitally-painted approach.
